POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Landman will be based out of the company’s office in The Woodlands, Texas. The position’s main focus will be to support the Land Team in all facets of company business including but not limited to developing leasing and acquisition/divestiture strategies, executing such strategies, title examination, settling surface damage claims and supporting overall development of a defined asset area. Must work well in a team setting and communicate efficiently with a strong emphasis on prioritization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Working with a multi-disciplinary team to accomplish goals and objectives within budgetary guidelines
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision; have experience providing guidance and support to less experienced land professionals is desirable
  • Handling intermediate to senior-level tasks associated with land operations and title curative
  • Working with support staff/brokers in preparation of oil and gas leases, lease purchase reports, assignments of oil and gas leases, division orders, and/or transfer orders
  • Experience in interpreting, negotiating, preparing and administering land-related contracts, such as: joint operating agreements, farmout agreements, term assignments, purchase and sale agreements, oil and gas leases and assignments of oil and gas leases
  • Experience working with landowners to address all surface use needs associated with drilling, completing and operating oil and gas wells and associated infrastructure
  • Ability to calculate working interests, net revenue interests, overriding royalties and non-participating royalties
  • Providing land information to other functional groups to support ongoing development of properties
  • Ability to order take-offs, abstracts and title opinions and manage the work of the providers rendering those services
  • Experience in clearing title for upcoming drilling locations
  • Understanding of applicable county, state and federal regulatory rules and procedures
  • Conducting due diligence in connection with acquisitions and divestiture of producing and non-producing properties

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 8-15 years of in-house land experience with rolls of increasing responsibility
  • Experience in publicly traded company preferred
  • Goal and solution-oriented with the ability to remain flexible, motivated, and focused during times of fluid priorities and compressed project deadlines
  • Direct land experience in Permian Basin preferred
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team oriented environment
  • Have excellent verbal/written communication, organization and time management skills

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Lease Records Analyst is responsible for analysis and interpretation of oil and gas agreements, including leases, assignments, title opinions and other contracts to determine the ownership and obligations of Ring Energy Inc. (“Ring”) attached to a defined asset area. This position includes an emphasis on lease and contract administration to insure accurate, consistent, and seamless records, and reports directly to the Land Administration Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up incoming contracts in Ring’s land system, and maintain existing records in a defined asset area, including oil and gas leases, assignments, mineral deeds, and other contracts.
  • Review and analyze title opinions, contracts, leases, and conveyance documents to determine accurate representation of ownership, obligations and provisions in Ring’s land systems and logs.
  • Maintain obligation and lease expiration calendars in the land system, initiate required payment processes, and ensure payments are made in compliance with related agreements and applicable laws and statutes.
  • Maintain and continually improve quality control processes to ensure data is properly vetted and reflected in reporting.
  • Handle structured and unstructured data clean-up.
  • Work cooperatively with Landman, Division Orders Analyst and other departments on owner/vendor set up, compiling of ad hoc reports.
  • Serve as one of the Ring’s front line representatives for owner relations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10(+) years of experience in Lease Records.

Position Summary

Ring Energy, Inc. is seeking an HSE Field Coordinator to support upstream oil and gas exploration and production operations in the Andrews and Plains, Texas field areas. This position will serve as a visible field-level HSE resource and support for production, construction, maintenance, workover, drilling, completions, contractor activities, and other operational support functions.

The HSE Field Coordinator will work closely with field leadership, employees, contractors, and the HSE Manager to support Ring Energy's Target Zero 365 Safety Program, promote safe work practices, support regulatory compliance, assist with environmental stewardship, and strengthen the company's field safety culture. The ideal candidate will have practical oilfield experience, strong hazard recognition skills, a common-sense approach to safety, and the ability to coach employees and contractors professionally in real time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine field visits to leases, tank batteries, SWD facilities, compressor sites, construction locations, workover sites, drilling locations, completions locations, and contractor work areas.
  • Observe field activities and provide coaching on safe work practices, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation.
  • Support field personnel with Job Safety Analyses, pre-job safety meetings, tailgate meetings, and task-specific hazard assessments.
  • Monitor compliance with the Ring Energy Target Zero 365 Safety Program and site-specific HSE requirements.
  • Support contractor safety oversight during construction, roustabout work, electrical work, trucking, vacuum truck operations, well workovers, drilling, completions, and facility maintenance.
  • Assist with contractor orientations, field coaching, safety performance feedback, audits, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Respond to incidents, near misses, spills, vehicle incidents, injuries, property damage events, and high-potential events as needed (possibly after hours).
  • Assist with incident investigations, evidence collection, interviews, root cause analysis, corrective action development, and lessons learned communication.
  • Support environmental compliance activities related to spills, releases, waste management, secondary containment, stormwater concerns, housekeeping, and field corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine HSE inspections of field locations, equipment, vehicles, facilities, and active job sites.
  • Lead or support HSE training, toolbox talks, stand-downs, field safety meetings, and topic-specific safety discussions.
  • Support emergency preparedness, emergency response planning, drills, tabletop exercises, and field emergency response activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, observations, audits, training, meetings, incidents, corrective actions, and environmental events.
  • Help train and lead fellow HSE Field Coordinators.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of oil and gas field experience in a safety role, preferably in upstream exploration and production.
  • Working knowledge of oilfield operations, including production, construction, maintenance, workovers, drilling, completions, and contractor activities.
  • Strong understanding of field safety practices and common upstream oil and gas hazards.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in field environments.
  • Strong communication, coaching, documentation, and follow-through skills.
  • Natural leadership qualities and a practical, common-sense approach to the job.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned field areas.
  • Ability to respond to incidents or urgent field needs outside normal business hours when necessary.

Preferred Qualification

  • Prior HSE experience in upstream oil and gas operations.
  • Experience working in the Permian Basin.
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry or Construction certification.
  • H2S training or instructor certification.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Veriforce or other contractor management system experience.
  • Incident investigation and formal root cause analysis training.
  • Knowledge of Texas Railroad Commission environmental and field compliance expectations.
  • Experience with HSE management systems, contractor compliance platforms, and incident reporting software.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Must be able to work outdoors in West Texas field conditions, including heat, cold, wind, dust, mud, rain, and uneven terrain.
  • Must be able to drive regularly between field locations.
  • Must be able to walk, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, squat, and access production and construction locations.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, FR clothing, gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, H2S monitor, and any other PPE when required.
  • May be exposed to crude oil, produced water, natural gas, H2S, chemicals, heavy equipment, traffic, noise, pressure equipment, electrical hazards, and other oilfield hazards.
